Preparation of a window opening before installing a new plastic window, in other words, dismantling the old one: — Removing the window sashes; — Carrying out the sawing of the vertical crossbar (for this it will be enough to use an ordinary hacksaw, the main thing is to get rid of the nails in the places of sawing); — dismantling the old window sill. The reinforced concrete window sill must be knocked off with a sledgehammer (striking must be carried out from the bottom up), but if it is a PSP or chipboard plate, then it is enough to pull it out with a pry bar (towards yourself); — dismantling the window block itself. To do this, you need to loosen and then break off the vertical crossbar (which was previously sawn), after which the block itself is disassembled in parts (disassembly must be started strictly from top to bottom to avoid injury);
— clean the entire window opening from debris and old insulation (it is best to walk with a vacuum cleaner around the perimeter).
This completes the preparatory stage, after which they proceed directly to the installation of a new window. There are two main ways to install a PVC window:
On awnings;
On anchors.
2.Installation:
— at the base of the opening, wooden blocks are laid in several places;
— installation of the window on the bars, leveling the horizon and tilt of the window by means of a level;
— drill 2 holes, insert dowels into them, thereby securing the awnings;
— foaming seams with polyurethane foam;
— installation of the window sill and propenyvae all the space under it (so that the window sill does not rise, something heavy is placed on top).
