Coating waterproofing

Lubricating waterproofing is the process of applying a special elastic waterproofing material to a horizontal or vertical surface. As a rule, such waterproofing coatings are mastics. This waterproofing occurs as a result of mixing the filler with astringent organic substances. Since mastic is one of the main coating materials, it is resistant to low and high temperatures. Therefore, it can be used even at temperatures up to +500 С.

In this regard, mastic is often used in the process of decorating fireplaces and stoves. In the case of very low temperatures, it will not begin to crack, since it contains chemical elements that impede this action. Lubricating waterproofing is used for waterproofing foundations, basements and roofs. It has high ductility and low water absorption. Mastics can be used as an independent waterproofing material, as well as in combination with other materials. Lubricants are: two-component, polymer, bituminous, bitumen-rubber and bitumen-polymer, cold (without preheating), hot (heated) and one-component.
